February 2026 Bar Exam Registration October 6 to November 10

The District of Columbia Committee on Admissions announces an update to the registration period for the February 2026 administration of the Uniform Bar Exam. Registration will open on October 6, 2025 at 9:00am ET and close on November 10, 2025 at 11:59pm ET. Applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible after the registration period opens. Results for the July 2025 exam will be released to July bar exam takers on or before October 31, 2025. Unsuccessful applicants will have until November 10th, 11:59pm to apply for the February exam.

All applicants must complete all academic requirements by the first day of the exam, February 24, 2026.

First-time applicants who are graduates of non-ABA approved law schools who are currently taking courses to meet the 26 credit hour requirement may upload an unofficial transcript with their application showing courses in progress.

Applicants who are requesting accommodations must indicate "yes" in the screening questions. The accommodation request and required supplements must be uploaded with your application. Applicants who wish to add documentation after they submit their application may do so until November 10th, 11:59pm ET.

All deadlines are final. There are no exceptions.
