June 2024 Swearing -in Ceremony

Congratulations on your admission to the DC Bar!

Please follow the instructions below to attend one of the Virtual Swearing-In Ceremony scheduled for June 20, 2024.

All applicants certified for admission to the DC Bar, both successful bar exam applicants and applicants on motion, are welcome to attend.

The Virtual Swearing-In Ceremony will take place June 20, 2024, at 10 am EST. Registration will close at 11:59 pm EST on June 16, 2024.

Certifications will continue through 5:00pm EST on June 18, 2024. If you are certified between June 16 and June 18, 2024, and wish to attend, please email coa@dcappeals.gov. 

Once you have registered, please do NOT contact our office. You will not receive a confirmation email. A Zoom event link will be sent out to attendees 24 hours in advance of the ceremony. Please do NOT share the link with anyone else.

The event will stream live on YouTube. An announcement with the YouTube link will be posted on the COA website no later than June 18, 2024 by 5:00pm EST. Please share the YouTube link with family and friends.
