To be eligible:

-You must not have applied in more than five cases in courts of the District of Columbia within the current calendar year.

-You must be a member in good standing of the highest court(s) in the state in which you are admitted.

-There are no disciplinary complaints pending against you for violation of the rules of the courts of any state.

-Have not been suspended or disbarred for the disciplinary reasons from the practice in any court.

-You do not practice or hold out to practice law in the District of Columbia.

There is a $100.00 application fee and applications may be submitted at any time. Pay by credit card, debit card, or E-check. All bank card transactions are subject to a separate non-refundable transaction fee of 2.5%. There is a non-refundable transaction fee of $1.00 for payments by E-check. You will receive a receipt once your application is processed.
