Rule 46(e)(3)(B) – Motion by MBE Score Transfer

  • Admission to the bar of another jurisdiction with a qualifying MBE score of 133 or higher earned on a Non-Uniform Bar Exam  
  • Applicants who took a Uniform Bar Exam are not eligible for this method of admission
  • A qualifying MPRE score of 75 or higher
  • Member of good standing in each jurisdiction in which you are admitted
  • Earned a JD or LLB from an ABA approved law school, OR graduated from non-ABA law school AND earned 26 credit hours at an ABA approved law school (see Rule 46 for details.)

NOTE: Rule 46 has been amended. This method of application terminates as of March 31, 2022. After March 31, 2022 individuals will no longer be able to apply using an MBE score for admission on motion. (See D.C.App. Rule 46(e)(3)(B)(iii)).
